The Summer I Was 12

The Summer I Was 12
The summer i was 12 brought me the best memory of the summer.
We were in the U.P camping just my uncle and I.
The smell of pine and breech so strong and heavily every morning we awoke.
the Rodin's and finches singing there beautiful song.
the sound of the insects buzzing off the top off the water and the fish
getting there breakfast, jumping out of the water creating a huge splash.
every night when we were in the tent we would tell story's about are past,
some funny and others even funnier,i would look up at the stars and wonder
if there were such things as aliens, then i would close my eyes and await the
new adventure that will arise the next morning.

Personal Object

Personal Object

Fishing pole
A fishing pole, variations of lengths and colors.
Every eye telling you a different story about the water.
all the tension put on the line when reeling in the big one.
the stress put on the pole when you get into a snag.
spending every minute soaking up the sun
and nature around you.
Bonding with your grandfather and father learning new things.
a way to clear your head and rejuvenate your soul.
the fulfillment you get holding up that trophy.

10 Things to Live by

Ten Things To Live BY
by : Steve Chuhran
You should go ice fishing at least one time over the winter
and embrace the cold and enjoy every minute of it.
Never regret anything, think
everything happens for a reason.
when ever you get a chance hit the woods or water,
hear what natures all about and relax.
Eat venison or fish at least once a week,
its lean and taste good.
Hang out with Friends when ever they ask you to.
for one time in your teenage life eat enough junk
food to make your stomach hurt.
Never be afraid to try new things or meet new people,
you never know who you'll make friends with.
never be a planner live your life day by day.
always be yourself, don't try to be someone your not
to impress people you don't even know.
live your life how you want to be remembered.

The Railroad Tracks

When i look at the railroad tracks it makes me think about how i am going to have to leave for college and how happy i am going to be but then i think about leaving my family, but want to play college football. i think of all the Jewish people that died in the Holocaust for no reason. i look at it and think about traveling all over the world and experiencing new places and meeting new people. it makes me stop and think about all the children who's parents travel all the time and never get to spend any time with them. and it makes me think that i have never been on a train before and i would really like to. it makes me think about when i lived in maine how long of a ride it was.

Wide Open Land

when i look at this image i think of just letting yourself go free just take a walk and enjoy life get out of the city and breath some fresh air it screaming at me and i makes me want to go hunting. makes me think about life and all the unanswered question that every has. the image make me think of my grandmothers house with all the open land and so many things to do but not enough time to fit everything in. i think about my high school football seasons and all the fun time we had and the toughness it takes to dedicate all your time to one thing and not a lot of people can do that. it makes me think of my dream when i get older i want to have a family and live in a log cabin on farm lad with a big lake, it makes me think about my father and how he always says that he wishes he had to own a farm and start up his own wild game restaurant.

Morning Wake Up

I woke up to a raging alarm clock at six o'clock in the morning. I pressed the snooze button and laid there for a while just gathering my thoughts about how much i hate school. After regaining my propose of how I need school I got to my feet and headed to the bath room to do some business, its like a routine thing, plus if your not a guy you don't know how hard it is to pee in the morning with your friend down stair poking you in the belly button. If you know what I mean. but that's that, after my business I turn on the shower and let it warm up to the exact temperature. I hop into the shower and wash up. After my shower I go to the sink and brush my teeth. I get dressed and while I get dressed I am dreading every moment that I have to wake up this early when I could be sleeping in a nice warm bed dreaming about hot women in the nude serving me kool aid on a beach while I'm fishing but no I have to listen to Mr. Letson give a lecture about the French Revolution. I don't know which is better. After I get dressed I sit on my bed and watch ESPN, Sports Center. Then I go into the kitchen and grap a banana to munch on and then I walk out the door to go to Marine City High School.

I Remember

I remember when i was little and i would go fishing with my father. We went every weekend and sometime when i didn't have school. We fished the St.Clair river for walleye, the equipment we used was a medium heavy spinning rod and bottom bouncers with a crawler harness, with a night crawler.I remember we would wake up early in the morning before anyone else was up and he would make breakfast and we would get all are gear together and head out. I remember one morning it was raining and my dad asked me if i still wanted to go out. I said yeah. We got out there later than usually, because we stoped at a coney island and got something to eat, i remember i had an ham and cheese omelet with a orange juice. we got to the river and there was nobody else there. I got all the fishing poles out while my dad got the boat ready. We got into the boat and headed out towards Algonac. we drop are rods in the water and right way my dad hooked up on a nice one. after we got into the boat, i picked up my pole and i had one on.it was like that all day. we ended up limiting out on walleye, which is six per person. That was the best day out on the river.

The Burning Craze

I am a sky-blue heart endless and confusing
I am a sprint tiring but competitive
Silence, meaningful and dark
I am a monkey smart and allusive
I am “pop bottles” because I have
A championship ring

The number two not first
But trying harder to become first
I am a blue 2010 Hummer young, huge but clam
Couch friendly also likes to be felt alone
I am a sour patch kid sour and sweet

Tuba loud and the biggest
I want to be the Tropics hot but dangerous
I am lighting because I come before thunder
Maple tree, big and sweet
Tornados destroys everything in there way
I am intensity crazy and compelling

Life's a Bitch
When you're hanging on to the mountain side And your nose gets a terrible itch,
That's the time you know for sure That life's a bitch
When Ludwig lost his hearing -When the good Lord struck him deaf,
He shouted the same word seventeen times And the word began with F.
'Life's a bitch', screamed Ludwig.'I'll drown me sorrows in wine.
'Then he dipped his quill in a bottle of hock And wrote Symphony Number Nine
Now poets can see what other men can't(They pronounce the word wind 'wined')But Milton whined that he naught could see When the good Lord struck him blind.
'Life's a bitch', quoth Milton,'Now pleasures have I none.
When a man can't see what he's given for tea,Oh, where had Paradise gone ?'
'Life's a bitch', said Boney,'It really isn't nice When you've marched to the gates of Moscow And the Lord sends snow and ice.'
'We've got frostbite in our noses And chilblains on our feet And yet despite the frostbite I still can smell defeat.'These three, dogged by misfortune Said,
'Life's a bitch I'm sure.It will bite you on the ankle,Be you rich or poor.'
I'll never be great or noble,I'll never be grand or rich,But I have to agree with the famous three -Life,is a bitch. By:Ray Warrington

I like this poem because its funny and it just saying that life can trow you curve balls and you never know when they will happen to you, i also like this poem because life can be a b**** but you have to find way around it, and still enjoy life.

For the most part I've been fairly OK. I've been spending my days for the most part ice fishing with my dad and some buddy's. I cant wait for super bowl sunday, by the way the Saints are going to with you cant stop The Hurricane Drew Brees. my days have been kind of boring, just doing homework and trying to keep my grades up, so i can play football in college. nothing really dramatic has happened in my life or exciting.
i know i sound really boring but i really dont do anything now that football is over, ijust go home or go to saouds and we go small game hunting, but latly now that the ice is here we have been going ice fishing everyday. that is basicly what has been going with my life not totaly awsome but enough to keep me satisfied.
